Speak-Dating

For the “joli mois de l’Europe“, Alliance Française in Halifax is teaming up with its usual Speak-Dating partner: Halifax Central Library. We invite you to come and speak in person in different European languages.

Speak-Dating is an activity open to all, where you can meet people and practise French and any other language with other language associations. Beginners welcomed, this is an activity made for all ages and all language levels.

Meet us at the Halifax Central Library (room 301) for an in person Speak-Dating for the Europe Month on Sunday, May 12 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m.

How does it work? In pairs, participants exchange for 7 minutes, then the pairs change and participants start another 7-minute conversation. Conversations are friendly and always supportive.
